2006 Candidate Questionnaire

In April of this year, the Alabama Citizens for Constitutional Reform Foundation sent every candidate running for legislative office a questionnaire to help Alabamians better understand their views on important issues related to our 1901 Constitution. Each questionnaire had the same six questions as well as space to provide additional comments which were not altered or editorialized. Also, every candidate was sent an addressed and stamped return envelope to help them send back their responses by the May 4th deadline.

Below are two drop down menus—one for candidates running for the Alabama Senate and one for those running for the House of Representatives—that have the responses for all candidates who returned a questionnaire.

If you do not know which legislative districts you live in, please look at your mail and find your nine digit (3xxxx-xxxx) zip code. Then go to the following web page and type in that zip code to find your House and Senate districts: http://www.legislature.state.al.us./misc/zipsearch.html.
